The international plan launched by VSN in 2015 has been a great success and the company has grown in all the markets that it is present in. With new developments that cover the whole media lifecycle, the company is preparing to continue with its expansion in 2016. We talk with Jordi Utiel, VSN’s President and CEO, during the Kick-Off that has been recently held at the company’s HQ in Barcelona (Spain).
What can you tell us about how the company is doing?
We have started this new year with renewed strength and a lot of optimism, due to the great results of the international expansion plan that we launched at the beginning of 2015. That makes us very proud. Our offices in Dubai, Hong Kong, Miami and Santiago de Chile are gathering very good numbers in terms of ongoing projects and contacts and the prospects for 2016 couldn´t be better. And, of course, our office in Barcelona, from where we manage Europe and Africa, has developed very exciting projects for broadcasters and corporations alike. With this Kick-Off, in which all the company’s departments are taking place, we are laying the foundations of the future of VSN. We are sure that 2016 is going to be our year.
How is VSN facing the new year?
What we are looking for is, as always, to solve and keep solving the needs of the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industries. We listen carefully to our users and the sector to understand what they need and how our solutions can adjust to that needs. In 2016, we are going to keep bringing our solutions to the most important international events -such as IBC in Amsterdam, NAB Show in Las Vegas or BroadcastAsia in Singapur- and to keep a dialogue with the industry. That is why we are strengthen our policy of demos, White Papers and technical documentation, with which we share our knowledge with the sector to contribute to its development. VSNEXPLORER already covers the whole media lifecycle with its MAM, PAM, BPM and BI modules, and we are willing to show to users, corporations or broadcasters everything they can achieve with our technology.
What would you highlight from your daily work at VSN?
I would highlight that the bonds of our team are very deep and we always work in the same direction. We have a strong sense of teamwork and the client’s satisfaction is our ultimate goal. This obliges us to be very close to our users, to know first-hand what is it that they need and how our solutions can address that. We also work very hard and monitor the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment to know where the industry is going to and how the changing needs of the industry are evolving, so that we can include the best way to solve that needs in our portfolio. And I think that we are on the right path, since during 2015 the feedback we have received from our clients is highly positive.
