VSN (Video Stream Networks) provides software solutions for audiovisual content management, both for companies in the Broadcast & Media industry and for all those that need to manage, archive, produce, plan and distribute media. The company has developed projects for TV channels, production companies, OTT platforms, public organizations, educational sector and content distributors, among others. All VSN’s systems are ready to be implemented in cloud, on-premise or hybrid environments. Moreover, they can be contracted under a licensing model or through subscription as a service (SaaS).
VSN was founded in 1990 in Terrassa, Catalonia, Spain. After more than 30 years of constant growth and international expansion, the company was acquired in September 2021 by the Canadian group Valsoft Corporation. VSN’s headquarters are located in the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya, a production centre and audiovisual cluster located in Terrassa. The company also has a development centre in Sant Joan d’Alacant and commercial presence in all continents.

Project Manager
We are looking to recruit a Telecommunications or IT Engineer with experience in the Broadcast and Media industry focused on leading the project implementation for high profile clients. The position requires a committed professional, able to manage critical projects worldwide on VSN's solutions. The appointed professional will also be in charge of the training for the end users and acting as a consultant for the creation of winning VSN’s solutions. The ideal candidate must have experience in the industry and would join a dynamic team, integrating into a stimulating work environment, sharing the company's values and willing to contribute with their creativity and knowledge to the team.
Academic Background
Advanced degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
Professional experience
At least two years of demonstrable experience as a Project Engineer within the Broadcast and Media Industry.

Technical undestanding of VSN’s range of products and solutions and how they can fit into a wider technical proposal.

Front-end Developer
At VSN we are looking for two front-end developers to participate in the development of VSNCrea and VSNExplorer MAM, two of the main products of VSN's portfolio.
Technology stack and tools
– Strong ECMAScript foundation.
– Solid foundation in TypeScript / ReactJS.
– Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and LESS and how a single-page application works (API calls, asynchrony, client-server architecture, etc).
– Knowledge of testing with Jest and Selenium.
– Fluency with the usual tools (repository, use of the browser console, terminal handling, debugging, VisualStudio Code, etc).

Product Specialist
We are looking to recruit a Telecommunications, IT Engineer or similar with desirable experience in the Broadcast and Media industry focused on leading the quality and excellence of all the VSN products as well as making sure they meet the user expectations.
The position requires a committed professional, good communication skills, and to be able to offer proposals for the product based on VSN's customers feedback. The appointed professional will also be in charge of certifying all the new developments, performing product demonstrations to customers to gather valuable feedback for the product evolution, and to share the technical details and the philosophy of the product both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate must have experience in the industry and would join a dynamic and agile team, integrating into a stimulating work environment, sharing the company's values and willing to contribute with their creativity and knowledge to the team.

Main responsibilities
– Design a product quality plan, together with the Product Manager.
– Generate quality plans, identifying the approval and rejection criteria for acceptance.
– Define proposals for better quality procedures, standards and internal specifications.
– Establish yourself as one of the maximum product specialists, actively involved in the technical and functional definitions of each new product development.
– Ensure the preparation of the test environments and the necessary tools to test and validate the product.
– Perform verification and validation tests.
– Facilitate the resolution of defects, develop corrective and preventive actions.
– Monitor implementation progress in quality using metrics and indicators.
– Document test results and necessary feedback for the Development team.
– Ensure that the product meets the defined functionalities as well as the expectations of the end users.
– Occasionally, to offer training, demos, webinars, as well as attend events and exhibitions with the aim of evangelizing the company’s products.
– Also ensure the quality of third-party software, hardware, integrations, workflows implemented in clients, etc.
